April 2021 Update
Everywhere we look, we see green. The grass is becoming fresh again. Our trees are budding. Springtime at our special place is truly beautiful. We hope you will experience it for yourself, soon. Here are some reasons:
Sauna
Last weekend, we held our first sauna in over a year (except for the heat-up we had during the Polar Plunge which really didn’t count as a true sauna.) It was wonderful to once again feel the relaxing heat penetrate every pore. Plus the conversation in a sauna is always great.
We have another scheduled for this Friday, 4/2 at 8pm.
Winter Warriors Update
Thanks to the faithful Winter Warriors who have been working hard to ensure our special place is spruced up for the coming season. Because Kansas weather tends to be unpredictable, it is always difficult to plan our gatherings too far in advance.
That said, it appears weather conditions on Saturday will permit us to gather once again and be productive. If you have signed up for this cadre of volunteers, you will receive a confirming email on Thursday or Friday. If you would like to be added to the list, just respond to this email.
What to bring: Chain saw, if you have one, work gloves, enthusiasm.
Family Naturism
Several of our members have families with whom they share our special place. The evening of April 11, we will host a discussion open to nudists and non-nudists who want to learn more about the advantages of raising their children in a naturist environment.
This will be an open discussion. Members who currently bring their children to Lake Edun and also members whose children are now grown and raising families of their own will be on hand to share their experience and answer questions. How did they handle it? How did it impact their children’s lives? Did it contribute to undesirable activities during their teenage years? These are all legitimate concerns all parents have.
Bring your questions. We want you to know. If you have questions, email us at info@lakeedun.com.
Weekend of April 23 – 25
We’re going out on a limb here with a full weekend of activity scheduled for April 24. In the event of inclement weather, it may be postponed.
Friday, 4/23 will be a day to recognize Veterans & First Responders who will enjoy a 50% discount off their daily admission fee with their appropriate ID. We recognize and appreciate all this group of professionals do to keep us all safe and secure. It is our way of saying “Thank You”.
Then, on Saturday, 4/24 we begin the day with the first Open house of the season from 12 – 2. Be sure you share this date with any friends you have who may be curious about Naturism in general and Lake Edun in particular.
Finally, Sunday, 4/25 we will host a Women’s Day event at South Beach with a special discussion on Body Acceptance. All who attend will receive a coupon they can use to receive a generous discount on their membership.
Spread the word. We want this to be a blow-out beginning to our season. And, keep in mind: if a member introduces someone who joins LEF, that member can receive a 25% discount off their renewal.

Amazon Smile
If you shop on Amazon and are not yet taking advantage of this, you’re missing an important way to support LEF. Next time you go to your Amazon account, sign in to www.smile.amazon.com. They will take you through the process which includes selecting the charity you wish to support when shopping. This is completely FREE for you, the shopper. Amazon donates to us ½% of your purchases. It’s not much but combined, it certainly adds up.
